This card was inspired by one that was created by Allisa Steinlicht. It also follows the parameters of The Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge (How lucky was that???). I used black cardstock as an outer mat, and white cardstock for the top mat. I ran a length of the Black Shimmer Trim across the middle of the card horizontally (I especially like how it already has adhesive on it). Then I got out my brand new Charcoal Shimmer Brush and created some shimmery splatters around the top of the card. The butterfly was created with black embossing powder and cut out afterwards. I glued down the body and the antennae to the top of the card and bent the wings back a bit for added dimension. I added a sentiment to the bottom right corner. I love the simplicity of this card!Materials Used:
