I had a chance to experiment with a technique I saw demonstrated by Melissa Johnson using alcohol markers on vellum. I used gold embossing powder on the dragonfly stamp and I was pleased with how it turned out. So now I had a dragonfly, but what to do with it. Then I saw the card challenge at Heart 2 Heart Challenges where the colour challenge this week is gold and I knew just what to do. I used Distressed Oxides to create the background and matted it on a second background of gold. All it needed then was a few embellishments and it was done.
Materials Used:
Ink: Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink, Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink, Fired Brick Distress Oxide
Adhesive: Tombow Permanent Adhesive,glue
Embossing Supplies: Princess Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark, heat tool
Embellishments: gems

That background is terrific with the gold dragonfly! Beautiful :) Thanks for sharing with us at Heart 2 Heart!
